Anatomy of Birds

Sept 15-17, 10 AM-4 PM  Smith Studio
Ages 16 up - all skill levels welcome
“Anatomy of Birds” offers the opportunity to study the anatomy and movement of a variety of bird species through lectures, PPT presentations, handouts, and observational drawing from taxidermy specimens.
The goal of this workshop is to cultivate a greater capacity to observe birds in nature by first studying and drawing them in a studio classroom. Weather permitting, on the last day of workshop, cloass will be held in the field where participants will have the opportunity to observe and draw birds in their natural setting.
Along with your drawing supplies, bring your field glasses and your love of birds!
